For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Spree, Kläranlage für Grubenwasser ADN-ZB Link 12.2.87-erd-Bez. Cottbus: Trink- und Brauchwasser aus den Tagebauen- Tagebauwasser wird als Brauchwasser für die Industrie, die Lnad- und Fischwirtschaft sowie als Trinkwasser für die Bevölkerung in zunehmendem Maße zur Verfügung gestellt. Vorher muß es in großen Systemen - wie hier in der Grubenwasserreinigungsanlage Spree - aufebessert werden. Wasser der Tagebaue Nochten und Lohsa des Braunkohlenkombinats Senftenberg wird hier gereinigt: Eisen wird ausgefällt und der pH-Wert reguliert.
