| Description |
Taken a bit beyond the previous picture and zoomed in, we can see that where all the construction equipment is assembled, the road appears to fork off into the hillside - entering what looks like a tunnel. This is the future route - taxpayers voted for the tunnel some years ago, but it isn't complete yet. It will allow the coast road to completely bypass Devil's Slide - solving the problem once and for all. (We hope...) |
