DescriptionForeshore east of Abbot's Cliff - geograph.org.uk - 1633651.jpg
English: Foreshore east of Abbot's Cliff The foreground concrete is the sea defence wall for the railway. The railway itself is behind the concrete wall at left, as it enters Abbot's Cliff tunnel. Ahead, the cranes of the channel tunnel works, in the early stages of constructing what is now known as Samphire Hoe. The sea defence wall and the foreshore here were eventually engulfed by the Hoe.
