Size: thumbnail, 2.7 x 2.4 x 1.3 cm
Geocronite
This is a VERY rare, lead sufosalt with moderately large crystals. The color is battleship gray, with a satiny luster. The crystals are foliated in parallel growth, much like mica. This species is not often seen in dealers stocks or even in museums. I am told it was collected prior to 1840, and this is one of the better ones out there...i DO believe that. .
