Deutsch: Der Bau der Neubaustrecke Nürnberg–Ingolstadt bei Denkendorf im Jahr 2001. Neben der Bundesautobahn neun (links) laufen die großflächigen Erdarbeiten der im Mai 2006 eröffneten Strecke. Im Süden (unten) sind Ausläufer des Gewerbegebiets Denkendorf zu erkennen, das heute durch den Denkendorftunnel erstellt wird. Oben rechts ist das Südportal des Irlahülltunnels zu erkennen, einen der längsten Eisenbahntunnel in Deutschland.
English: The Nuremberg-Ingolstadt high-speed railway line under construction, in 2001. The future track is being built next to the Autobahn 9 (on the left). Large-scale earthwork is being conducted in the area of the future Denkendorf Tunnel. On the bottom, some buildings of the Denkendorf business park can be seen. The southern portal of the Irlahüll Tunnel is already finsihed (top right).
Français : La ligne TGV Nuremberg-Ingolstadt en construction, en 2001. La future piste longe l'autoroute 9 (à gauche). Des travaux de terrassement à grande échelle ont été menés dans la zone du futur tunnel de Denkendorf. Le passage en tunnel limite l'impact de fragmentation de la partie boisée déjà travaersée par l'Autoroute. Certains bâtiments du parc d'affaires Denkendorf sont visibles sur la photo. L'entrée sud du tunnel d'Irlahüll est déjà terminé (en haut à droite). Le Passage en tunnel est une alternative encore plus efficace que l'écoduc ou la tranchée couverte pour protéger la vocation de corridor biologique de la bande boisée, bien que celle ci soit déjà fragmentée par l'Autoroute
