Summary

Description
English: Quintinite-2H
Locality: Jacupiranga Mine, Cajati, São Paulo, Southeast Region, Brazil (Locality at mindat.org)
Size: 0.8 x 0.5 x 0.4 cm.
A superb 2mm crystal from the co-Type Locality. This hexagonal crystal is a brilliant yellow-orange in color, and its excellent vitreous luster is practically iridescent. A superb example of a very rare mineral species in crystalline form, and gemmy as well. This is one of the rarest of crystallized CARBONATES, and a complex one. This locality produced not only crystals, but certainly the best for form and beauty. Ex. Charlie Key. He got it from Carlos Barbosa before he passed away.
